Thielaviopsis is a serious soil-based disease that is prevalent in all areas of the world, and is known to attack over 100 plant species in 33 families, including a wide variety of commonly grown vegetables, woody and herbaceous plants such as holly, tobacco, calibrachoa, begonia, cotton, geranium, viola, pansy, vinca, and poinsettia. Symptoms of Thielaviopsis root rot, more commonly known as black root rot, include blackened root tips, root rot, and stunted plant growth.

Thielaviopsis can be difficult to control and prevent. Since Thielaviopsis is a soil-borne pathogen, soil-based fungicides such as TerraClean provide the best chance of effectively controlling it. TerraClean’s unique scientific formula penetrates soil and eradicates soil-borne disease by reacting chemically with many common harmful pathogens such as:

Rhizoctonia

Fusarium

Phytophthora

Thielaviopsis

Pythium

Verticillium

As TerraClean’s revolutionary chemistry reacts with soil-borne disease pathogens, it releases large quantities of oxygen into the soil, stimulating root development, nutrient intake, and plant growth through enhanced oxygenation of root systems.

TerraClean also provides crop-growers with other key benefits. It is EPA approved, has a Zero-Hour re-entry interval (REI), and can be easily and efficiently applied through drip tape or micro-emitter drip irrigation systems.

For best results, apply TerraClean at planting time by mixing TerraClean with setting water using banded or broadcast application.

Whenever the same soil is used to grow multiple crops in quick succession, TerraClean should be used to rid the soil of disease pathogens between plantings.

Please note that TerraClean should only be applied to soil, and not directly to plant foliage. Its patented formula contains high concentrations of organic acids that are uniquely designed to penetrate soil and react with harmful soil-borne diseases.
